These activities can be enjoyed daily, throughout the day, in the mill, in and around the park. Ask at reception for more information.

Crafts in the mill – Let your creativity run wild and come and do some crafts whenever you feel like it. The mill is open all day and available for drawing, colouring or creating beautiful works of art.
SpykeBall – Challenge each other to a game full of speed and fun! This energetic game is played in pairs or groups of four around a net on the ground.
Archery – Test your concentration and precision! Learn to aim like a real archer and try to hit the bullseye at the shooting range.
Forest Ranger Treasure Hunt: follow the tracks! Six different animals have gone missing – can you find them? There will be various clues around the park to guide you to the lost forest animals. Once you’ve found them all, a reward from the forest ranger awaits you at reception.
Pancake package with a ‘farm tour’: Pancake packages are available at reception, allowing you to collect your own fresh milk from a nearby farm. Have you always wanted to see inside a farm and the stables? The farmer will be happy to show you around. Visit reception for more information.
Kubb, table tennis, stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing: These activities are available in the activity room and can be enjoyed at any time.

Movie Time!

When the weather’s not so good, we create a cosy atmosphere indoors with a fun Movie Time for all ages. The mill is transformed into a snug cinema, furnished with soft mattresses, comfortable cushions and a big screen. A place where you can all settle down together, relax and lose yourselves in a good film.

There is a suitable selection available for young and old alike, as well as films specifically for children aged 12 and over. This means there is always something to suit the group and the occasion.

Baking pizza

At Holiday Park de Hoop, it’s all about enjoying time together, even the little moments. Scattered throughout the park, you’ll find an authentic pizza oven, ready to be used for a relaxing evening in the open air.

Bring your own favourite ingredients, roll out the dough and bake the tastiest pizzas together under the open sky. As the scent of freshly baked dough mingles with the fresh air, a moment of togetherness naturally unfolds that you won’t soon forget.

Easter

At Easter, the mill comes to life with fun, creative activities for young and old alike. Children (and parents, of course) can decorate their own Easter eggs here at the mill. Using a variety of colours and materials, they create the most beautiful designs, whilst everyone enjoys a relaxed and festive atmosphere together.

On Easter Sunday, a fun Easter Egg Hunt is also organised in the park. Go on a discovery hunt, search for hidden eggs and enjoy a playful moment together in the open air. A lovely tradition that brings fun, togetherness and wonderful memories during the Easter weekend.

A visit to a local farm

Experience the real countryside with Farm Tour, a fun and surprising activity for the whole group. With the pancake kit, you’ll head out to a local farm, where you can take a look around the barns and meet the cows up close.

A special moment is milking the cows yourself – pure, fresh and straight from the source. With this milk, you’ll return to your accommodation, where you’ll bake the most delicious pancakes together in the evening using the kit provided.

A simple yet special experience where discovery, tasting and shared enjoyment come together effortlessly. (Cost: €20 per kit)

Water sports

For those who love getting out on the water, the opportunities are literally on your doorstep. From the activity hut in the park, you can easily grab a SUP board or canoe and head straight out onto Lake Uitgeestermeer.

Glide gently across the water, discover the surroundings from a new perspective and enjoy the peace and space around you. Whether you opt for a leisurely trip or prefer a more active outing on the water – the lake invites you to get out there and fully embrace the moment.

A home for bees in this park

At Dutchen, we place great importance on nature conservation and biodiversity. That is why we are proud to announce that beehives have been installed in this park, inhabited by the gentle Carnica honeybee.

With these beehives, we aim not only to contribute to the recovery of the bee population, but also to raise awareness of the importance of these remarkable insects. The bees are professionally managed and do not bother visitors — as long as they are left in peace. In this way, we are taking our commitment to sustainability a step further and inviting our guests to join us in caring for our natural environment.

There are two beehives in the park – this ensures healthy competition among the colonies and better protection against natural predators.
