On the shores of the Uitgeestermeer lies Erfgoedpark De Hoop, a special place where history, water and nature come together. Stay in a stylish lodge or glamping tent and discover North Holland at a relaxed pace.

More time at all our other destinations

You know how it goes: you arrive, put your bags down and the afternoon is already over. We'd love to change that. Arrive on a Monday for three nights, and your holiday home will be ready for you from 13:00.

That gives you a whole extra afternoon. Time to unpack at your leisure, make a coffee and sink into the sofa. Or head straight outside to see where you've landed. In Schoorl, the dunes are right on your doorstep, while in Drenthe the woods and heathland are waiting. In Lauwersoog, you can watch the sun set over the Lauwersmeer, and on Texel you'll be blowing away the cobwebs on the beach on your very first afternoon. By the time you'd normally be arriving, you'll already feel at home.

And at the end of your stay, there's no need to get up early to hand in the keys on time. Your last morning is still part of your holiday. Enjoy a slow breakfast, take one last stroll along your favourite route and have another cup of coffee while the house is quiet around you. Only at 13:00 do you close the door behind you.

Arrive on a Monday and leave on Thursday. Your holiday home is ready for you from 13:00, and on your last day you can stay until 13:00. Because we'd love you to enjoy your time with Dutchen that little bit longer.
