No, Baayvilla’s Lauwersoog is a pet-free park. Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the villas or anywhere on the park grounds.

At our Texel parks, pets are only allowed in house 5 at Waddenduyn. Pets are not permitted in any other accommodations.

How many dogs can I bring to my holiday home?

You can bring up to two dogs, in homes where dogs are welcome. Use the 'Pets allowed' filter when searching to find them, and let us know how many dogs are coming when you book.

Where can I go on holiday by the sea with my dog?

At Dutchen, you can stay with your dog in selected holiday homes at Mooi Schoorl, Weideduyn, Buiten Bergen and Duynvoet, close to the North Holland coast. On Texel, dogs are also welcome at Waddenduyn 5, a holiday home with an enclosed garden. At Elements Terschelling, selected hotel rooms and apartments are dog-friendly. Always check the pet policy of your chosen accommodation before booking.

Are dogs allowed on the beach all year round?

Dogs are welcome on many Dutch beaches throughout the year, but the rules vary by location and season. In Schoorl and Bergen aan Zee, dogs can run freely on the beach from October to May. During summer, this is permitted before 10 am and after 7 pm; during the day, dogs on leads are only allowed on designated activity beaches. On Texel, dogs can run freely on unpatrolled beaches, while leash restrictions apply to other areas, sometimes depending on the bird breeding season. On Terschelling, dogs may run freely on the beach all year round, provided they are under control. Always check the latest local beach regulations before your visit.
