Quicksilver Surf camp

Five days packed with sea, action and new friendships. At the Quiksilver Surf Camp, young people enjoy a week of surfing, beach life and adventure on Camperduin beach.

As well as surfing, there are plenty of other activities on the programme, such as stand-up paddleboarding, bodyboarding and surf rafting. In between, there’s time to relax on the beach, and in the evenings there are fun activities such as a werewolf night, sunset SUP or a party night.

Practical information

Location: Camperduin beach, Schoorl

Age: 8 to 17 years (groups are divided by age)

Duration: Monday to Friday – five days of beach and sea

Activities

• Professional surfing lessons – supervised by enthusiastic and certified instructors

• Longboarding

• Surf rafting

• Stand-up paddleboarding

• Expression session at the end of the week

• Evening activities

Accommodation

You can choose from:

• Day camp

• Surf camp with overnight stay (from 12 years old) in Stayokay accommodation

Surf lessons in Camperduin

At Hookipa Beach, you’ll discover what it feels like to play with the sea. During the surf lessons, you’ll learn not only how to stand on a surfboard, but also how to read the waves and stay safe in the water.

The lessons are suitable for beginners and advanced surfers alike, young and old. In small groups, instructors work step by step on technique, confidence and, above all, fun. Because ultimately, the best surfer is the one having the most fun.

What can you expect?

Every surf lesson includes:

• Guidance from certified instructors

• Surfboard and wetsuit

• Basic surfing and ocean theory

• Use of the surf spot’s facilities

• Showers and changing rooms

Lessons are taught in small groups (max. 10 participants per instructor) so that everyone receives plenty of personal attention.

SUPing on the Camperduin lagoon

Fancy a relaxing day on the water? The Camperduin lagoon is one of the most beautiful spots in North Holland for stand-up paddleboarding.

The water is calm and shallow in many places, making it an ideal spot for both beginners and experienced paddlers. As you paddle gently across the water, you can enjoy the views of the dunes, the beach and the sea.

It almost feels as if you’re somewhere in a hidden spot on the Australian coast – but right here in Schoorl.
