Park Weideduyn is a small-scale holiday park with only 11 luxury holiday homes, which sleep 6 to 8 persons. The luxury holiday homes are decorated in a modern manner and have their own Sauna and/or Jacuzzi. The holiday park is child-friendly and each villa offers a high chair, cot and stair gate. Park Weideduyn is only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the centre of Schoorl, shops and the Klimduin (climbing dune) and has a magnificent view of the fields. The woods, Schoorl dunes and beach are only a short bike ride away. Now also bookable with your own beach cabin!
Weideduyn 3 is a beautiful, thatched holiday villa that sleeps 6 persons and is located on the small-scale holiday park Weideduyn, within walking distance of the centre of Schoorl and the Klimduin (climbing dune). The holiday home is situated on a spacious parcel of land, centrally-located in the holiday park and has a generously sized Finnish sauna.
Layout
The spacious living room has a modern interior and is equipped with a flat screen TV and a DVD player. The open kitchen is adjacent to the living room, which is equipped with, among others, a microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, gas range cooker, dishwasher and refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. There is a washing machine and a dryer which are ready for use in the storage room.
The spacious entrance has a main staircase leading to the basement and the loft. The basement has 2 spacious rooms, a bathroom and a 6-person Finnish sauna. The master bedroom has a second flat screen TV. The spacious bathroom is equipped with both a shower and a bathtub, double washbasins and a toilet. The loft has two extra sleeping spots.
The double doors in the living room lead to the terrace at the front of the holiday villa, which faces southward. This is comfortably furnished with a wooden dining table with chairsand sun loungers; a wonderful spot to enjoy the sun.

In the neighbourhood The centre of Schoorl is within walking distance of Weideduyn 3. Here you will find the Klimduin (climbing dune), nice restaurants, bicycle rental services, shops and of course, terraces. From the holiday park it will take you approximately 15 minutes, via a beautiful route through the dunes, to reach the sea and the beach. It's approximately a 35 minute walk through the woods to the artists' village of Bergen.

Park Weideduyn is located in a very peaceful area with beautiful views of the countryside. Within a five-minute walk, you'll reach the center of Schoorl with shops, restaurants, and the Klimduin. The Schoorlse Duinen and the beach are nearby. There are countless hiking and cycling routes through stunning nature, ready to be explored by you. For those who want to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city, Alkmaar is within twenty minutes, and Amsterdam within three quarters of an hour.
If you love tranquility, then Park Weideduyn is ideal. Just outside the center of Schoorl, nestled among the fields, this small-scale park is situated. You can walk from the park to the village center in a short time. The charming town of Bergen is easily reachable by bike or car. The cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem, and Amsterdam are also easily accessible from Park Weideduyn. It makes for a nice day trip from your holiday home in Schoorl.
The surroundings of Schoorl are perfect for exploring by bicycle. This way, you can fully enjoy the beautiful nature. At the Dutchen-reception and in the center of Schoorl, you can rent (electric) bikes. Looking for more action? Mountain biking or horseback riding in the forests or dunes of Schoorl is a unique experience. There are endless mountain biking trails, and you can rent a mountain bike from the bike rental in Schoorl if needed. For a horseback ride, you can visit Duinmanege van Poelenburgh. They organize various outdoor rides for riders of all levels.
During the summer, you can relax on the beach. Swimming is possible at the beaches of Hargen, Camperduin or Bergen. Alkmaar has a swimming pool for water fun during the colder seasons.
Schoorl and the Klimduin (Climbing Dune)
Schoorl is known for the Klimduin, a sand dune that is a staggering 51 meters high, located right in the middle of the village. Children love climbing and playing on it. At the foot of the Klimduin, you'll find cozy cafes and restaurants. While watching the children play, you can relax with a drink on the terrace. The Klimduin is also a perfect spot for a workout, attracting many sports enthusiasts throughout the day.
The village of Schoorl may be small, but it is very cozy. There are shops for daily groceries, a supermarket, boutiques, galleries, and pleasant restaurants.
The Schoorlse Duinen

Bergen and Groet
To the north of Schoorl lies the village of Groet, the gateway to the sea from Schoorl. Groet has a few shops and restaurants. It has a rural atmosphere, and the nature there is more rugged. Bergen, to the south of Schoorl, is known as a chic artist village. Bergen is vibrant all year round. It offers galleries, charming boutiques, excellent restaurants, and hosts many events. Bergen aan Zee has cozy beach pavilions and restaurants.
Cities
Within a fifteen-minute drive, you can reach Alkmaar. It is a charming city with picturesque canals and cozy streets. Enjoy shopping in Het Fnidsen, the main shopping street of Alkmaar. In the summer, there is a cheese market, and there is even a cheese museum! For a wider choice of culture and entertainment, you can easily visit Haarlem or Amsterdam from your holiday home.
