The holiday park
In the park you will find several natural playgrounds and a large lawn where children can play. Directly adjacent to the park is a (public) swimming lake.
The park has an excellent restaurant (opened from 6 June) with a spacious terrace where you can relax. The restaurant also has two rooms that you can reserve for a private occasion.
In the historical building with the authentic mill, there is an ice cream parlour where you can choose from many types and flavours of traditional ice cream. Snacks are sold as well.
Sailing, cycling, walking: there is plenty to do around the Uitgeestermeer! Also cities like Alkmaar, Zaandam, Haarlem and Amsterdam are at maximum 30 minutes driving distance. For a day on the beach you can go to Castricum aan Zee, Wijk aan Zee and Egmond aan Zee. Museums such as the Zaanse Schans, the archaeological centre Huis van Hilde and the Bunker Museum in IJmuiden are also certainly worth a visit.
