Comfort Villa 't Genoegen is a unique, characteristic converted barn dated 1888 with lots of luxury. Because of the lovely quiet location in the Achterhoek, this spacious 4-person house is an ideal place to completely unwind.
The house has a modern open kitchen with induction hob and dishwasher, and is fully equipped. The cozy dining table and French doors make it a real living kitchen. The living room is very spacious and has a cozy fireplace, where it is good to relax after a long walk through the beautiful nature.
Villa 't Genoegen has two bedrooms, each with its own luxurious bathroom with rain shower. The first bedroom is on the ground floor; on the mezzanine you will find the second, spacious bedroom with luxurious beds, where you can sleep in style under the characteristic ceiling. Here you can also relax in the infrared sauna. The private bathroom is located at the foot of the mezzanine.
The villa is located on Estate de Weldaed in an enclosed private nature reserve of over 2 hectares. This is only available for you as a guest! Around the house you will find terraces on both the southeast and the north with lawns on the southwest and southeast. There's always a spot where you can enjoy the sun or the shade.

Surroundings
Landgoed de Weldaed is located in the village of Aalten in the Achterhoek. Outside the estate there are many possibilities for recreation on every level, such as walking tours, trips by bike, motorbike or car. Within half an hour's drive you can visit various museums, castles and country estates, especially across the border with Germany (only five kilometres away).
Famous places in the neighbourhood are Winterswijk, Doetinchem, Lichtenvoorde and Groenlo, not to mention the medieval towns of Bronckhorst and Bredevoort, each with its own characteristic features. The historic hanseatic cities of Deventer, Zutphen and Doesburg are also less than an hour's drive away.
