Summer Beach fun day:

Add some extra fun and adventure to your holiday in Schoorl with a fun and active beach day organised by De Jongens uit Schoorl.

 

Every Tuesday between 17 July and 30 August, children aged between 8 and 16 can take part in these exciting activities.

On this fully organised day, children can enjoy various water activities, including surfing, supping, surf rafting and bodyboarding.

After an active day at the beach and dunes, relax in or around the quiet villa; on the spacious, sunny terraces in the garden, by the fireplace or in the sauna. Bring your dog along, pets are allowed!

 

This romantic, luxury villa with thatched roof for 6 breathes an air of peace and open space. Duynvallei 6 is conveniently located on a large and sheltered plot with extra privacy, right next to the sand dunes and just a few minutes walk from the beach. After a pleasant walk or bike ride, come home to a well-kept and comfortably designed holiday house. The home comes with all the necessary facilities such as a great sauna. The house is also perfect for an off-season getaway. The entire space is equipped with floor heating and an ambient hearth in the living area. .

 

Enjoy the sun all day long in the spacious L-shaped living room with open kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave-oven, gas hob and a  Nespresso machine. The interior is rustic yet luxurious with a cosy sitting area, flatscreen television and music system. A spacious dining area with dining table for those evenings with good food and pleasant conversation. The storage room has a washing machine and tumbledryer at your disposal.

 

The patio doors in the living room open onto the lounge area outside with wooden furniture, cushions and a large parasol. Enjoy the large, south-facing garden for hours of sun on the North Sea. Additional garden doors are located next to the kitchen that lead to the second terrace, where you can enjoy the sun's rays starting at breakfast.

 

The entrance is spacious and from here, the central staircase leads to the bedroom and mezzanine. Both bedrooms and bathroom are situated in the very large basement under the holiday home. The spacious master bedroom also has a flatscreen TV. The sizeable, luxury bathroom has a bathtub, separate shower and toilet. The mezzanine has a beautiful lounge area where you can take time to relax as well as a study area for a quick browse online. The third bedroom is also located on the mezzanine and has two single beds. The beds are made upon arrival.

 

A high chair, cot and stairgate are available.

 

In short, Duynvallei 6  is an ideal place to fully unwind and a great basis when discovering the surrounding area. .

 

Pets are permitted in Duynvallei 6, but not in the bedrooms.

 

The area outside the house has ample space to park your car.

Surroundings

Holidaypark Duynvallei is located in the picturesque village Hargen on the north side of the Schoorl dunes, at about 15 minutes walking to the beach of Camperduin. 

Groet

Groet is just a 5 minute bike ride from Holidaypark Duynvallei away; it's a cozy village between the North Sea and Schoorl. Here you will find attractive restaurants such as Restaurant Bokkesprong, a restaurant in an authentic farmhouse with history dating back to 1905. In the center of Groet you'll find a good baker, butcher and a grocery store.

The dunes of Schoorl

Schoorl is a unique place where lovers of peace and nature will feel at home. The National Park 'Schoorlse Duinen' is the widest and most varied nature area with dunes along the Dutch coast and beautiful hiking and biking trails. The beach of 'Schoorl aan Zee'is car-free and can only be reached through the walking paths or by bicycle. The nature center 'Buitencentrum Schoorlse Duinen' offers plenty of activities for the children en is the start of great walking routes.

Schoorl

Schoorl is a pittoresque little town, with a unique climbing dune right in the center. Schoorl offers several shops and cosy restaurants, where you can enjoy a drink while the kids can enjoy playing. 

 

Bergen

In the village of Bergen it's art, culture and cultural history elements that define the atmosphere. In Bergen you will find museums and galleries, an artist center, boutiques and even an artifical ski slope. Furthermore, there are the annual events such as the 10-day Art Fair, Holland Music Sessions, Light evenings, the summer art market and various fairs.

Alkmaar

A cozy city with picturesque canals and lots of great shops. Tip: The 'Fnidsen' is the old shopping center with the best boutiques. You can also visit the Cheese and Beer Museum. Ask our receptionists for more tisp of the area.
