Holiday park De Hoop is situated in a unique, historical location next to a nature reserve right on the Uitgeester lake, not far from Schiphol Airport. The park offers spacious holiday homes for up to 16 people and atmospheric 4-person appartments with excellent swimming and water sports facilities within easy reach. The park also has a restaurant and nature playground for the children. 

 

During the holidays, a free programme of activities is offered for young and old. Besides yoga and bootcamp classes for adults, children can take part in football and volleyball competitions, treasure hunts, cubb tournaments or laser gaming.

Waking up with a view over the water? The luxury 4-person apartments have a beautiful view of the swimming lake and mill from the terrace. The bedroom on the ground floor is ideal for guests with reduced mobility.

 

Layout

This luxury 4-person flat (connected) is about 58 m2 and has a cozy living room with a sitting- and dining area with flat screen TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a gas hob, microwave oven, fridge, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. For your lunch or dinner you can go to the restaurant in the park as well, which is located at a few meters walking distance.

 

The apartment has two bedrooms. On the ground floor you will find a spacious bedroom with two single box spring beds. This is a small attic room under a sloping roof. Through the folding doors you can reach the terrace with a view over the water; perfect to wake up to the sound of rippling water. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower, the toilet is separate.

 

Via the stairs you reach the upper floor (vide) with an open second bedroom, equipped with two single box spring beds.

 

The terrace has comfortable outdoor furniture and a parasol. Here you can enjoy a snack and a drink until the late hours.

 

In the apartment you can use free Wi-Fi.

 

Erfgoedpark de Hoop is car-free. Parking is possible at the central car park.

Playground and swimming lake

Glamping Erfgoedpark de Hoop has everything you need for an active family holiday. At this park, in addition to our own safe children's beach, we also have a surf beach, so surfers and kiters: be sure to bring your equipment! SUPs and kayaks are also available and our team can inform you about sailing and surfing lessons at the local surf school. There are various natural playgrounds and there is a large lawn where children can play football and romp around

In the holidays, there are weekly activities such as beginners' Sup Clinic, sunset supping in good weather, yoga, bootcamp, marshmallow roasting and werewolves. And at reception is the starting point of the approximately two-hour treasure hunt. The programme is included in the price of accommodation.

 

Restaurant - Krelis

The park has an excellent restaurant called 'Krelis' where you can enjoy culinary dishes, delicious wine, ice cream and friendly service. The restaurant also has a spacious terrace where you can relax on sunny days. Hospitality, local products and a nice atmosphere are the key values here.

Surroundings

Water sports

During your stay at Holiday park De Hoop, a day on the water is a must. Do you have your own boat? Then you can moor your boat at the jetty at Holiday park De Hoop. It is also possible to rent one of our two electric boats directly at the reception. From the Uitgeester lake, you can visit many authentic North Holland towns and villages in the area by boat. In addition to sailing, supping or canoeing is also a fun, active way to explore the Uitgeester lake. We offer canoes through the nearby canoe rental. Please contact us for more information.

 

Towns & Villages

Alkmaar is a vibrant city with a cosy historical centre and many nice shops and restaurants. Cities such as Zaandam, Haarlem and Amsterdam are also within 20 - 30 minutes reach from Uitgeest.  

For an authentic North Holland experience, visit villages such as De Rijp and West and East Graftdijk. Here, you will find old Dutch houses, farms, churches and monuments.

The above towns and villages can also be reached by water, a unique experience!

 

Museums

In the vicinity of Holiday park De Hoop you will find various interesting museums. Visit the Zaanse Schans with its beautiful windmills and Dutch crafts or take a look at the archaeology centre Huis van Hilde in Castricum. The Bunker Museum in IJmuiden and the Airborne Museum with objects from the Second World War are also highly recommended!

 

Cycling & walking

Holiday park de Hoop is situated in an ideal location for cycling and walking along historical sights and through the North-Holland Dune Reserve. Bicycles can be rented at the reception of the marina.

 

Beaches

For a day at the beach you don't have to drive far. Popular beaches such as Castricum aan Zee, Wijk aan Zee and Egmond aan Zee are within a 15 - 25 minutes' drive. Spend the day on your towel or go (kite) surfing, this coastal area is perfect for it.

 

Location

Because of its central location near the A9 highway and half an hour's drive from Schiphol Airport, the park is easily accessible by car. The Uitgeest train station is about 4 km. away.
