Adjusted Rental Conditions due to Extenuating Circumstances

In order to protect and accommodate our guests, we currently apply the 'Adjusted Rental Conditions due to Extenuating Circumstances'. We follow the guidelines of the government.

Your reservation is eligible for the 'extenuating circumstances', if:

  • You have made a reservation with us before 15 March 2020 for a stay in 2020

The "Adjusted Rental Çonditions due to Extenuating Circumstances" contain the following clauses:

If you (or any of your fellow travellers) are infected with the COVID-19 virus or if you are not allowed to travel (for example due to travel restrictions from your country), the booking you already made and paid for will be cancelled. The travel amount will not be refunded. You can choose from the following options:

Option 1: You postpone your booked holiday directly to a new date

  • The modified booking must take place in the holiday park originally booked (if available in the same holiday home).
  • The modified booking is subject to availability.
  • The new booking must be take place no later than 12 months after the original arrival date.
  • If the rental price of the modified holiday is lower, the difference will not be refunded. If the rental price of the modified holiday is higher, the additional costs must be paid within the applicable payment period.
  • Changes to your booking must be made and confirmed by the Dutchen Call Centre.
  • When making a new reservation, the original cancellation conditions continue to apply. View >

Option 2: You will receive a voucher for a new holiday

  • The modified holiday must take place in the holiday park originally booked (if available in the same holiday home).
  • The modified booking is based on availability.
  • The voucher must be used before 31 December 2021.
  • If the rental price of the modified holiday is lower, the difference will not be refunded. If the rental price of the modified holiday is higher, the additional costs must be paid within the applicable payment period.
  • Changes to your booking must be made and confirmed by the Dutchen Call Centre, stating your voucher number.
  • Your voucher is valid until 31 December 2021. Your voucher will expire if it has not been used and the stay has not taken place within the specified period. The travel sum is non-refundable.

Please note: do you have a reservation for holiday park Hof van Salland or De Groote Duynen? For thess holiday parks, different cancellation conditions apply. Please contact us for more information.

Is your booking not eligible for the 'extenuating circumstances'?

If you can't claim the "extenuating circumstances", it's still possible to cancel your booking.

In this case we will give you the opportunity to release your reservation for rental. This means that we make the holiday home you have booked available again for renting out to others. If the house is booked for the dates in question, we will send you a voucher for the original amount of your reservation. If no new reservation is made for that period, the reservation will be cancelled and you will pay the corresponding cancellation costs or you can still decide to make use of the reservation yourself (possibly in a different group composition). We charge € 35,- change costs for this.

At this moment there is no negative travel advice from the Netherlands for the locations of our holiday parks and on site in our holiday parks we do everything possible to ensure safety and hygiene. Our holiday parks are small-scale and have no central facilities; no large groups of people gather a the parks. In the beautiful surroundings and/or on the nearby beaches you can enjoy a wonderful stay even at this time of year. In order to meet the strict safety standards and hygiene regulations in the holiday homes and at the reception, we regularly clean and disinfect all the premises, paying particular attention to door handles, stair railings, kitchens and toilets.
