If you, for any reason, proceed to the cancellation of a concluded lease agreement and has not made use of the cancellation insurance, offered via Dutchen, you forfeit compensation (cancellation charges) for the benefit of Dutchen.

 

The cancellation fee for the 'Fully flexible' rate is:

 

a. For cancellation more than 30 days before the start of the stay, there are no cancellation charges;

b. For cancellation within 14 to 29 days before the start of the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 90% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee;

c. Cancellations within 13 days before the stay or in case of cancellation during the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 100% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee.

 

The following accommodations are exceptions to this rule:

 

Suitelodges Gooilanden

a. For cancellation more than 14 days before the start of the stay, there are no cancellation charges;

b. Cancellations within 13 days before the stay or in case of cancellation during the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 100% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee.

 

Hotel Bleecker, Hotel Bloemendaal

a. For cancellation more than two days before the start of the stay, there are no cancellation charges;

b. Cancellations within two days before the stay or in case of cancellation during the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 100% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee.

 

The cancellation fee for the ‘Non-refundable’ rate is:

 

a. For cancellation more than 91 days before the start of the stay, the cancellation costs are 25% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee;

b. For cancellation within 90 days before the start of the stay, the cancellation charges amount to: 50% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee;

c. For cancellation within 60 days before the start of the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 60% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee;

d. For cancellation within 30 days before the start of the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 90% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee;

e. Cancellations within 14 days before the stay or in case of cancellation during the stay, the cancellation charges amount to 100% of the agreed net rent plus the booking fee.

 

The fee will be refunded proportionately, after deduction of the reservation fee and the fee for the cancellation insurance, if the house is booked by a third party, nominated by the tenant and with the written consent of Dutchen and paid for the same period or part thereof.

 

 

Group cancellation policy

 

If, for whatever reason, a cancellation or partial cancellation of the rental agreement entered into must be made, an indemnity shall be forfeited in favour of the lessor.

This compensation amounts to:

 

Cancellation more than three months before commencement:

25% of the agreed net rental price plus reservation costs

Cancellation within three to two months before commencement:

50% of the agreed net rent plus reservation costs

Cancellation within two months to one month before commencement:

60% of the agreed net rent plus reservation costs

Cancellation within four to two weeks before commencement:

90% of the agreed net rent plus reservation costs

Cancellation within two weeks before commencement or during the stay:

100% of the agreed net rental price plus reservation costs

 

Contact must cancel the rental agreement in writing. An agreement is deemed to have been cancelled on the working day on which Dutchen receives the written cancellation. Cancellations outside office hours are deemed to have been received on the next working day.

 

The fee will be refunded pro rata, after deduction of the reservation fee and the cancellation insurance contribution, if the accommodation is reserved and paid for by a third party, on the recommendation of the tenant and with the written consent of Dutchen, for the same period or part thereof

 

If you have a cancellation insurance through Dutchen and you cancel with a valid reason for the insurance, then the costs can potentially be recovered via the insurance.
